Before you use any of the equipment in the BUILD Space, you'll need to complete a training session with one of our staff. Click below to see all of the available training sessions, and sign up today. [Please note: before beginning any equipment training, you need to complete your General Workshop Safety Training online.]

EQUIPMENT

Use the link below to book machines for your team's use during your residency. We recommend booking with plenty of time in advance, as the BUILD Space is a shared resource with new teams joining frequently. Adam Allard Adam is the BUILD Space Operations Manager and oversees all shop activities and team members. Before joining Autodesk, Adam had over 20 years of experience driving mechanical and hydraulic component and prototype machining, fabrication and development. Joe Aronis Joe is the 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, Microelectronics and Assembly Shop Supervisor at the BUILD Space. Joe has expertise in electromechanical engineering, pneumatics, wiring and automation, as well as robotics, optics and electronics. Talk to Joe about: How to fabricate your prototype.

Taylor Tobin Taylor is the Precision CNC Machine and Wood Shop Supervisor at the BUILD Space. Rick Rundell Rick is a Senior Director and innovation strategist at Autodesk, and the leader of the BUILD Space team. An experienced architect, he left practice in 2000 to help software startup Revit launch a new 3D building design tool, acquired by Autodesk in 2002.
